Creating Your First Export

You’ve installed the Houzez Property Feed plugin and you’re ready to create your first export. Let’s go!

1. Navigate to ‘Houzez > Export Properties‘.

2. Click the big ‘Create Export‘ button from the top-right corner.

3. This page that you’ll use for both adding and editing exports is broken down into sections that can be accessed via the left hand link. Clicking a link will take you into the relevant section with the appropriate settings.

4. Begin on the ‘Export Format‘ tab and choose from the dropdown the format that you will be exporting in.

5. Enter the information specific to the format. If you’re not sure what these are we recommend asking the third party that will be receiving the data feed. You can also enter a name for the export. This is useful if you’ll be using the same format for multiple exports and need a way to differentiate between them.

In the above screenshot we’ve selected ‘BLM‘ and as a result a set of fields relating to the BLM format have appeared. Choosing a different format will result in different fields appearing.

6. The next step is to choose the frequency of the exports.
